The Augsburg dance team is rounding out its competition season with the 2nd Annual Dance Show on Saturday, March 3 at 5 p.m. in the Si Melby Gym.

The event will feature dance performances by the Augsburg Dance Team, the St. Kate's Dance Team, Augsburg dance alumni, and the Augsburg Football Team (as well as other groups).

Admission is free for Augsburg students (bring your ID), $3 for other students, and $5 for adults.

During the first semester, the team dances a performance routine, which entertains fans at sporting events with a combination of upbeat jazz and hip-hop. Second semester, the team goes into competition season performing a more skilled jazz routine in competition with other Minnesota colleges.

This is the dance team's first year in the Athletics Department (instead of being funded solely by Student Government). This is an exciting change for the team which is quite young this year, having gone into competition season with one senior and a remaining team of first-year students.
