Celebrating International Education Week, Nov. 13-17

International Education Week (IEW) is a nation wide, joint initiative of the U. S. Department of State and Education to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn and exchange experiences in the United States.

In observation of the IEW, the Augsburg Office of International Programs and the International Student Organization is sponsoring the following activities:


• Tuesday, Nov. 14:
10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. African Culture & Augsburg Abroad Table
7 p.m. International Movie, Urness/Mort lobby

• Wednesday, Nov. 15:
10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Asian Culture & Augsburg Abroad Table
7 p.m. International Movie, Urness/Mort lobby

• Thursday, Nov. 16:
10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. “The Americas” & Augsburg Abroad Table
10:20 a.m. Chapel speaker Shamani-Jeffrey Shikwambi
3:30 - 5 p.m. Open House in Murphy Place
7 p.m. International Movie, Urness/Mort lobby
