Writing Lab Schedule This Week and Next

The last day of SS I in the Writing Lab will be Thursday, June 26 (4:30 - 7 p.m.)

The Lab will be closed (and the library will have reduced hours) next week. Regular summer hours in the Writing Lab will resume when SS II begins on Monday, July 7 and will continue through Thursday, August 21. Again, summer hours are Mondays and Thursdays, 4:30 - 7 p.m.

The Lab is located in Lindell Library, street level, just left of the circulation desk. Tutors are on duty to help Augsburg students at any stage of their writing process.

Augsburg Farmers Market

Its that time of year again for the West Bank Farmers Market to begin! Every Tuesday starting July 1 there will be a farmers market with fresh locally grown veggies and other treats in front of the Foss Chapel from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. then we will move over to the Brian Coyle center and sell from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. Come out and support your local farmers!

Wanted: Camping/Canoeing Partner For Short Trip

You are a person who thinks adventures are fun, likes the woods and camping (or just wants to give it a whirl!). You have a basic skill level of canoeing and can help me lift the canoe off and on the car.

1-2 volunteers wanted for short (3-4 days) trip up north to monitor loons for the Department of Natural Resources program. I am a seasoned loon monitoring volunteer, car camper and native Minnesotan who has been doing this since 1998. I have all the equipment and supplies needed, including transportation.
