No More Yellow Package Slips to Students

Students will no longer get yellow slips in their campus boxes notifying them they've received a package. Look for a message in your Augsburg email instead. You will come to Shipping/Receiving in the lower level of Christensen Center, just like you are used to, but you will sign for your package on a signature pad (be prepared to show your ID). Staff and Faculty will also see emails that they have received a package; packages will be delivered like normal and you will also sign on a signature pad. We are thrilled with our new system to track packages at Augsburg; both the notification to you and our control of packages is greatly improved. We are also eliminating thousands of paper forms!

Derek Le, Mitchell Davis Running for Student Gov't

Why Vote for us?

Derek and Mitchell are both highly qualified student leaders who are looking to reinvigorate student government and make it a place where the voices of more students are heard.

Student Government is an organization that uses student tuition dollars to further the interests of the student body. Because every student is paying into Student Government, it is the foremost priority of Derek and Mitchell to create a Student Government that better advocates the ideals of all Augsburg students.

How might you ask are Derek and Mitchell "highly qualified?"

Derek, an international student from Vietnam, has held numerous positions of leadership at Augsburg including Orientation Leader, ASAC Marketing Manager and Intern for the upcoming Nobel Peace Prize Forum. Derek has been involved in Student Government for 2 years and is an International Business and Business Management major.

Mitchell, from Lake Elmo, has served Augsburg as an Orientation Leader and current Student Orientation Coordinator. While Mitchell lacks experience in Student Government, he makes up for it with his extensive leadership background and intense passion for student affairs. Mitchell is a Chemistry major.

As students of color, both Derek and Mitchell can better understand and advocate for the diverse student population at Augsburg College.

Please remember to cast your vote starting Monday, March 4!

Voting will be conducted via an online poll emailed out to all non-graduating Augsburg students.
