Public Safety and Facilities Announcements
Register for Fac/Staff Parking Permits Now
Faculty/staff surface lot permits are available for pick up for those who have completed the registration and payment process. If you have not yet registered, please do so and then allow two business days for Public Safety to process your permit before coming in to pick it up from Public Safety dispatch.
Permit numbers this year have been pre-printed. Double check that the permit number you are given at the window matches the permit number you were assigned through Parking Services.
A photo ID is required for permit pick up.
Friday, August 10, is the deadline to be entered into the drawing for a free parking permit! Register online through Parking Services.

Workshop schedule is repeated daily from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., August 14, 15, 16, 28, 29, 30. Opening session begins in Sverdrup Hall 202.

HR Department Hours August 14-15
The HR department will be closed all day Tuesday, August 14, and from 8 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, August 15. The closure allows HR staff to participate in a departmental annual retreat. Now Hiring Student Callers
The Institutional Advancement (IA) Office of Augsburg College is now hiring current Augsburg students to be student callers.
Looking for energetic, passionate Auggies who are comfortable communicating on the phone to be ambassadors for the College. This position involves calling alumni, parents, and friends of Augsburg to update them about news on campus, discuss their Augsburg experience, and ask for donations to the College. Calling begins in September, is during the evening Monday-Thursday, and also Saturday mornings and afternoons. Flexible hours, great pay, and great fun!

Good-bye Celebration for Jessica Fox Wilson
Come by East Commons on August 13 from 12:30-3:30 p.m. for a good-bye celebration/open house for Jessica Fox Wilson. We will celebrate her successful time at Augsburg with cake and coffee. Please come by to wish her well in her next endeavor!
First-year Student Move In
First-year student move in day is September 1. Check your Augsburg email for your scheduled move in day if you have an early arrival for a program, sport, etc.

Upper-class Student Move In
This year -- for the first time ever -- the Department of Residence Life is allowing upper-class students to move into their spaces as early as August 23. You can pick up your key in the Urness Hall lobby Residence Life office from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on August 23 as well as during the following times:
August 23: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
August 24: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
August 25: 12-2 p.m. and 5-7 p.m.
August 26: 12-2 p.m. and 5-7 p.m.
August 27-30: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
