Parking Lot F Closed Tuesday, August 7
Parking Lot F (Anderson/Luther) will be closed on Tuesday, August 7, for re-striping. Make sure your vehicle is removed by late Monday night. Vehicles can be parked in any other Augsburg parking lot as long as the space is not marked as reserved, metered, etc. Thank you for your cooperation.
Old Main South Entry Closed for Maintenance
On or around Wednesday, August 8, Building Restoration Corporation will begin making repairs to the south entry of Old Main. Workers will be cleaning and repairing mortar joints, as well as replacing the concrete in the portico area. While this work is in progress, the Old Main south entrance will be closed to general traffic. Emergency access is allowed. This work is expected to be completed by the end of August.

The hangtag permits have not yet arrived on campus. An A-mail message will be posted when permits have arrived and are ready for pick up at the Public Safety Desk. Thank you for your patience.
Free Office Furniture
The facilities department has cleaned furniture storage spaces. We have placed some items in the lower level hallways of Foss Center. These items are free to any takers on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you would like any of the items, mark them as "taken." You must remove the items yourself by the end of the day on Thursday, August 9. Any items left after August 9 will be tossed, even if they are marked as "taken." Please note that these free items are not for use on campus.
Also, if you are aware of any nonprofit organizations interested in the items, please let them know.

Augsburg Dem National Convention Watch Party
With just weeks left until Election Day, President Obama on September 9 will take the stage in Charlotte, N.C., to address the Democratic National Convention. And Augsburg students will be there
in spirit. Come listen to the President's speech, and then get ready to get to work.
We have two months to turn out students in a big way to vote for President Obama and Democrats up and down the ticket. We've come too far to turn back now.
