Join Alumni/Students at the Etiquette Dinner
Register deadline for the Etiquette Dinner is quickly approaching on Friday, Nov. 11th. Cost $10. Monday, November 21, 2011, Kennedy Center, 303/305
5:00 p.m. This will be an informative and fun evening. Enjoy dinner, networking and learning the do's and don'ts of business etiquette. Great information for any business lunch or dinner! You will be surprised on what you will learn that you thought you already knew. Register at the Career & Internship Center office. Register by 11/11 and get 10 free business cards and be entered into a drawing to win a $25 Target gift card.
Annual Benefit Enrollment
This message is intended for all benefits-eligible employees. The following communication is also being mailed to your home address and should arrive by the end of the week. Therefore, there is no need to print out the material included in the links below.
Annual benefit enrollment will start on Monday, November 7, 2011 and go through Friday, November 18, 2011. All forms must be turned no later than 4:00 pm on Friday, November 18.
We strongly encourage all benefits-eligible employees to attend one of the information sessions. Please bring your enrollment packet that you will receive in the mail to the information session. Sessions are scheduled as follows:

November 9, 2011 at 12:15 pm, Christensen Center, East Commons

Health Insurance Premium Increase Response
Human Resources has received some questions and concerns regarding the 2012 health insurance premiums. Please see the attached link for a response to those questions and concerns. All benefits-eligible employees will receive this letter in the mail with the annual benefit enrollment materials by the end of this week.

Biology Seminar: What I Did This Summer
Not looking forward to returning to that summer retail job next year? Want to beef up the resume and do something that relates to your area of study? Come join Tri-Beta on Thursday, November 10 from 6-8pm as we host this year's "What I Did This Summer" seminar and get a taste of the kind of work you could do next summer as a student researcher. Listen as fellow Augsburg biology students share their off-campus and on-campus experiences and research topics. This year's topics range from studying populations of primates in Africa to tracking bacteria as they swim through lung secretions. All are welcome and we hope to see you there!
