Focused Conversation
The Campus Space and Master Plan that was approved by the Board of Regents last May calls out the need for the College to establish an infrastructure to best manage our physical assets that establishes:
standards for furniture, fixtures, and equipment for common meeting areas and work spaces;
planning to allow for the appropriate handling of deferred maintenance needs;
action plans to remodel the second floor of the library to support students' academic success (Gage Center);
planning to increase the utilization of the space in the lower level of the Christensen Center (A-Club Grill); and,
a framework to be followed when assigning space to various departments or individuals.
Please join us for a Focused Conversation relative to the above which will include an overview of the work that has commenced over the summer months, particularly relative to the Mortenson renovations, Library shifts to the lower level, Gage Center build out on the second floor of the library, and A-Club Grill/Admissions renovation work in the Christensen Center.
When: Monday, August 29
Time: 2:30- 3:30 p.m.
Where: Marshall Room, Christensen Center
If you have any questions prior to the meeting, please contact David Draus on extension x1033.

Support Campus Kitchen, Get a Cooler
Campus Kitchen is wrapping up the Youth Summer Meal Program that served thousands more meals than we ever had before. We had to purchase some additional equipment to make it all happen, and now that we don't need it, would like to sell it to support to further support our work. We have 6 coolers on wheels, blue and yellow, that we will sell for a $25 donation to the program. You can see the model here: http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/190-3832610-1042337?asin=B002VQ9PU2&AFID=Froogle_df&LNM=|B002VQ9PU2&CPNG=sports&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=B002VQ9PU2&ref=tgt_adv_XSG10001 Please let me know if you are interested, and thanks for supporting our work.

2 Twins Tickets for Friday Night
I have 2 available tickets for the Twins/Tigers game Friday night. These are my season tickets that I'm just not able to use. They are in the Left Field Bleachers, Section 129, row 4. Only 4 rows from the field! Face value is $26 each, and the game is at 7:10 pm. Also, being that they are season tickets, you can also get access to the Metropolitan Club if you're interested either before or during the game. Thanks.

My brother is finishing up an internship and has to vacate the place he's subletting so now he's looking for a bedroom for September only. He's a pretty quiet guy, works 9-5ish. Willing to pay a reasonable price. Please let me know if you can help him out.
