Host Welcome Dinner for New International Students
Greetings!
We are looking for Augsburg faculty and staff to host welcome dinners for incoming international students. Hosts usually receive 3-5 students, and are responsible for transporting them to and from campus. Welcome dinners are scheduled as the final event of international student orientation, and will be held Friday, September 2. Students may be picked up between 5:00-5:30pm and usually are returned to campus between 7:00-8:00pm.

Huzzah! RenFest Discount Tickets
Augsburg College has once again partnered with the MN Renaissance Festival to offer discounted tickets to students, staff, and faculty.
New for 2011! Tickets will no longer be sold in the HR department. Instead, those interested in purchasing tickets will need to do so online, and enter the College's promotional code when prompted.
RenFest is open Saturdays and Sundays from August 20-October 2. The Festival is also open on Labor Day and Friday, September 30. Hours are 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Open rain or shine, and there is always free parking.
To purchase tickets:
1) go directly to: www.renaissancefest.com/MRF and click the "Buy & Print Tickets" logo in the upper-right hand corner of the page
2) once a new window appears, select the "Daily Tickets" option, and then select the number of adult and children tickets desired
3) At the bottom of the next page, you will be prompted to enter a promotional code, which is 11AUGSCP Once this code has been entered, your adult tickets will be $17.00 and your children tickets will be $9.00.

Part-Time Nanny Needed
We are looking for a caring and responsible individual that can come to our house three, half days a week to care for our two year old son. This person should be creative, energetic and committed with a desire to read books, play with play doh, go on nature walks and run in the yard with our little man. Previous experience working with children, good references and good communication skills is necessary.
We are a family of four without pets and live close to Lake Nokomis in South Minneapolis. Our older child will be at preschool during the day. We enjoy spending time outside, being creative, being active and exploring. Please contact me if this position interests you.
Days and hours: M,T,W from 1pm to 5pm, occasionally extra hours for nights out. Duration: August 29, 2011 through May 2012.
