Finally, please note that there will be increased traffic, including emergency vehicles, routed through campus as a result of the Riverside Ave. project. Farmers Market Starts on Tuesday

The West Bank Farmers Market will begin its third season this coming Tuesday, July 5th (mark it on your calendars, because it's going to surprise you when you come back from a nice long weekend).

The market begins at the Brian Coyle Community Center from 11-1 pm and continues at Augsburg in front of Foss Chapel from 2-5 pm.

This year we're excited to introduce many new items and will be accepting EBT for the first time. Besides the fantastic vegetables that our farmers will grow, Campus Kitchen will be selling bread, rice, oil, pickles, and possibly meat, eggs, and cheese. We still need to figure out the equipment and system to safely hold all these items, but from the very first week, we guarantee that you can come in and buy everything you need for a full meal (at least a vegetarian stir fry).

Each week we will be sending out an email with announcements, vegetable profiles (learn what kohlrabi is!), and get recipes for what's in season. You can sign up on our listserv by following this link: http://listserv.augsburg.edu/sympa/subscribe/westbankfarmersmarket-list

Hope to see you soon!

Corrected Grade Due Dates

Spring Rochester grades are due Friday, 6 Jul.
Spring WEC/Grad grades are due Wednesday, 1 Jul.
SSI grades are due Monday, 11 Jul.

Grading information can be found through the following link:
http://www.augsburg.edu/registrar/gradeentry.html

Timely grade submission is important to our students. Most of our WEC and Grad students are on company reimbursement and work under time lines for submitting their tuition claim (which requires a grade for the course). Many of our Day students are dependent on scholarships which require graded coursework for continuance or for application for new monies. Thank you for your efforts to support our students.

Thank You, Augsburg

A great big THANK YOU to all of the generous Augsburg people who donated items for the East African Women's Center. I heard from a staff person (Augsburg alum, Joanna Flaten,) and a current student (Angela Bonfiglio) who work at the center, how much the children are loving the toys. She said that a couple of parents have been able to take toys for kids who didn't even have 1 toy at home.
Way to share your resources, Augsburg!
