Subject: Christensen Elevator Modernization Begins

Message: Effective Monday July 2, 2007 the Christensen Center elevator will be undergoing modernization. This elevator will be out of service through the duration of the project which is scheduled from July 2nd through August 31st.

The ground floor of Christensen Center is accessible via the east entrance ramp from 22nd Avenue South. The Welcome Center and coffee shop is accessible via the Urness / Mortensen Skyway.

There will be no elevator access to the dining room (third floor) level.
For questions or concerns getting to the third floor, please contact Augsburg Department of Public Safety at x 1717.

This elevator modernization project provides the following benefits:

•Improved service by reducing your waiting time
•Saves energy by running more efficiently
•State of the art microprocessor controller get a cab to you faster
•Updated cab interior and brighter cab operating panels
•Greater reliability and reduced down time mean better service


This modernization work is scheduled to be completed by August 31, 2007.
