We are now scheduled for three convocations for the Fall term during the day school hours, plus the Homecoming Celebration 12 October and five for Spring term including an Augsburg for Adults Convocation on main campus Saturday 16th February and a Rochester Convocation in mid-May 2008.
Fall term:

Interested in being a part of a Weight Watchers (WW) group, but not sure where to start? Augsburg's WW at Work program will be hosting an Open House on July 13 for new and returning members.
Join us to learn more about WW and to sign up for our next series of meetings.
This program, sponsored by Augsburgs Wellness Program, is a convenient way to get you started on your weight loss journey!
How WW Meetings work
* You attend a meeting on-campus once a week for less than an hour.
* Each week you have a confidential weigh-in to help you track your progress.
* You learn how to make wise choices, eat healthy and enjoy food and exercise.
Coaching and exchange
* Enjoy support from your leader who lost weight with WW, is a trained expert in the program and is committed to your success.

Invitation to host visiting Chinese students

As a follow-up to Dr. Kwok's recent visit to the US, and UIC's partnership with MPCC, Augsburg College will be hosting a group of 28 Chinese students and two faculty/staff leaders from United International College (UIC). They arrive on campus Sunday, July 8th and will be departing Friday, July 13th. After an afternoon of orientation on July 8th, we are inviting faculty and staff to volunteer as "home visit" hosts.
