The Girls in Engineering, Mathematics and Science (GEMS) and the Gise In Science and Engineering (GISE) will be employing 10-12 undergraduates (female and male focusing in education, math, science, engineering or related fields) students starting mid June through mid August. This 16 hour a week (GEMS: Tuesday/Thursday; GISE: Monday/ Wednesday) mentoring posting gives Augsburg undergraduates valuable experience working with middle school girls and boys in academically enriched projects (robotics, building the surface of the Moon, the chemistry of cosmetics, etc.) Augsburg students must be eligible for work-study; $12.50-13.00/hour. Interested students should contact Jeanine Gregoire at gregoire@augsburg.edu. Deadline for application is May 5.
Message: The Enrollment Center is open all summer for your convenience! Please stop in during our regular hours (check www.augsburg.edu/enroll for info), call us at 612-330-1046 (please leave a message if you get our voicemail!) or email us at enroll@augsburg.edu.
