Message: I would like to invite all the Augsburg College community men and women faculty, staff, and students to join the Augsburg Associates. The Associates is a very special group that serves Augsburg College in a variety of ways. Membership fees-- starting at as little as $15 help provide a scholarship for an Augsburg student and fund many service projects for the campus. Past projects include: buying the organ for Hoversten Chapel, providing the new Welcome area outside of Admissions in Christensen, renovating the Augsburg room and, of course, hosting Velcommen Jul. You do not need a bunad to join and you can choose your level of involvement, from just making your membership donation (it is tax deductible!) to helping with estate sales or Velcommen Jul. This is a terrific opportunity to pool our resources to benefit this amazing institution. Please contact Kathryn Croyle at 612-330-1171 with questions or to request a membership form.
Message: A Canon Powershot digital camera with an LCD screen that swings out has gone missing. The small silver camera, with a silver strap tied to the outside and a compact flash card inside, was last seen in Mortensen Hall, between the seventh and the twelfth of September. At the time it had no batteries inside, and was kept in a loose black case attached to a glittery silver shoulder strap. If you know anything about such a camera, tell Becca Reilly as soon as possible: 612-373-8127.

On October 6 students and faculty from the Augsburg College Physician Assistant Studies Program joined with The Family Opportunities for Living Collaboration (FOLC) to put on a yard sale. Thank you to all of you in the Augsburg community who donated goods for the sale and for supporting the sale with your dollars. With your help we were able to raise over $400 to support FOLCs mission. The mission of FOLC is to inspire, connect, administer, and support individuals and organizations as they partner together to provide programs that address the health and family needs of community members living in Cedar Riverside and surrounding Minneapolis neighborhoods. See their website for details www.folcmn.org
