2006 Security Report Available
Message:
Each year Augsburg College publishes an annual security report. This report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Augsburg College; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. You can obtain a copy of this report by contacting the Security Department at x1717 or at the following website:

Walkway access to campus
Message: Beginning October 9, the complete walkway between Parking Lot L and Murphy Park will be open. The walkway is located behind the new athletic field bleachers. Please watch for informational signs as the walkway will have to be occasionally diverted for concrete work. |

Message: Prof. Hans Wiersma of the Religion Dept. and Youth and Family Ministry presented on "Lutheran theology for Youth Workers" at the Youth Worker Academy, Sept. 30-Oct 1, in Leesburg, FL. This event was sponsored by the ELCA's Florida Bahamas Synod. Every participant got a "Lutheran Handbook" published by Augsburg Fortress. Wiersma is one of the Handbook's co-authors. |
