College ranked in U.S.News & World Report's 'America's
Best Colleges 2007' Message: The U.S.News & World Report’s annual ranking of "America's Best Colleges" has been published, and Augsburg College is ranked 23rd in the category of Midwestern Universities - Master’s Top Schools. This is a move up from 26th last year. Schools within this category produce a full range of undergraduate and master’s level programs. For the second year, Augsburg made the “Programs to Look For” list, being one of only 39 schools in the nation to be selected for “First-Year Experiences” and one of 25 in the “Service Learning” category. This list recognizes schools with “outstanding examples of academic programs that are believed to lead to student success.” Augsburg is the only private college in Minnesota recognized in these two categories.
