Film at MSP Int'l Film Festival Features Auggies
Message:
Four members of the Augsburg community are featured in the documentary film, "Camp Out." "Camp Out" is a feature documentary film that follows ten Mid-Western teenagers as they attend the first overnight camp for gay Christian youths. The camp is operated by The Naming Project, a faith-based youth ministry for youth of all sexual orientations and gender identities. In 2004, two producers filmed the first summer camp operated by The Naming Project, and have created a funny and touching documentary.

Maria Mitchell selected for leadership award
Message:
Congratulations to Maria Mitchell, selected as the recipient of the Linda Schrempp Alberg Award. This Award was established by the family, colleagues, alumni and friends of Linda Schrempp Alberg in recognition of her outstanding commitment and exemplary leadership in the field of student affairs during her lifetime. Linda served Augsburg College for 19 years, initially as Director of Residence Life and finally, as Associate Dean of Student Affairs. She died on June 13, 1996 at the age of 44.
